If you enjoy the Zombies experience in Black Ops 7, this new map is set to deliver an even more engaging challenge. The Ashes of the Damned Easter Egg is a large, feature-rich quest packed with new mechanics, updated systems, and powerful gear to earn along the way. In this guide, you will find every step you need to complete the main quest from start to finish. Get ready to jump in, stay sharp, and put your Wonder Weapons to work.
Your first objective is to unlock the Pack-A-Punch machine. The process is straightforward and starts with your old rusted truck. Install the T.E.D.D. head onto Ol’ Tessie, then take it out for a run. Once you activate the power and follow the required steps along the route, the Pack-A-Punch machine will be ready for use.
At Vandorn Farm, your goal is to collect the serum ingredient known as Human Bones. To get it, target the right leg of the hanging corpse and land a precise throw to knock the foot loose. Use a Molotov to burn away the remaining flesh, and once it’s cleared, you will be able to pick up the Human Bones.
At Black Water Lake, make your way to the kitchen area. You will find the Jar of Spores near the sink. Once you pick it up, head back to Vandorn Farm and interact with the horse carcass on the ground. Doing this will give you the Widow’s Lantern item.
Outside the barn at Vandorn Farm, you’ll find the Saw Trap. Activate it to take down a Ravager during its exclusive level. Once the trap finishes the job, make sure to collect the Ravager Eyes it drops.
Head to the diner on the Black Ops 7 Zombies map and keep clearing zombies until one drops the Freezer Key. Look for the orange glow, then unlock the double freezer in Reba’s Diner to collect the Abomination Carcass.
Ol’ Tessie can be used to clear out the glowing purple plants along the main highways. After each one breaks, step out of the truck to collect the Horde Chunks they drop. Keep moving forward and gather as many as you can along the route.
Uber Klaus appears after round 8. Defeat him and pick up the Stabilizer Chip he drops. Then return to Ashwood and bring the chip to Klaus in the jail cell. Install the chip into the door mechanism and toss stun grenades at his head to trigger the sequence. Once done, Klaus will break free.
With Klaus now active, your next objective is to secure the Aether Barrel. Head to Zarya Cosmodrome and use Klaus to bring the system back online. Once the area activates, stand inside the red circle and hold your ground against the incoming zombies. Complete the challenge, and the Aether Barrel will appear.
After filling the Aether Barrel, head to Vandorn Farm and interact with the eye. Your goal is to match the three symbols on the cube with the three symbols shown on the map. Once all symbols are aligned correctly, interact with the red eye to claim the Necrofluid Gauntlet, the ultimate Wonder Weapon for this quest.
Zursas begin appearing from Round 15 onward. To get a Mysterious Limb, take one down using Tessie’s Abomination Laser Beam. Once it falls, collect the limb from its body and continue to the next step.
To progress, activate the Wisp and make your way into the Tailor Shop. Once inside, interact with the mirror and hit it with the Necrofluid Gauntlet. This will reveal the Powder of the Forgotten.
Bring all of the serum ingredients to Yuri’s Lab and interact with the tray. A cloud of white smoke will appear and reveal a Pigpen Cipher. Read the symbols from left to right to decode the message. Once you enter it correctly, red smoke will trigger, giving you the option to add blood and move to the next step.
Once you add the blood, a lockdown sequence will begin and zombies will rush in from all sides. Your goal here is simple: survive. Clearing this phase is essential, as it leads directly to the next objective where you will need to collect the keys.
To continue with the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Easter Egg, you’ll need to locate three keys. Each one is hidden in a fog-covered area, so stay alert as you search. When you’re ready, head to the mysterious cube and interact with it to begin the key hunt.
Use the three keys to unlock Ol’ Tessie’s DG-2 Turret Barrel Upgrade. Once you have it, head to the garage and install the upgrade onto Ol’ Tessie. Completing this step will give you access to the Prism.
When you reach Ashwood, you’ll be prompted to “Kill Time.” To do this, fire Ol’ Tessie’s DG-2 Turret at the glowing purple clocktower. Then follow up with a shot from the Gauntlet. The combined hits will cause the clock to explode and shift its glow to a deeper purple, signaling that the step is complete.
In Black Ops 7 Zombies, you’ll need to finish four Easter Egg challenges located around the map. You can tackle them in any order, but it’s recommended to save Black Water Lake for last. After completing the challenges at Vandorn Farm, Zarya Cosmodrome, and Exit 115—as well as the final one—call Klaus to your location and get ready for the next phase.
The final boss fight is one of the standout moments on the COD Black Ops 7 Zombies map. Veytharion is extremely tough, so focus on hitting his weak points to bring him down more efficiently and stay in control of the battle.
By following these steps, you can work your way through some of the toughest quests in the COD Black Ops 7 Ashes of the Damned Easter Egg. Use this guide to explore new strategies, support your squad, and secure powerful Wonder Weapons as you push toward the final objective.
