GTA V – Everything in the Kortz Center Heist Update

Last updated:

GTA Online's Kortz Center Heist launched on July 14, 2026, as part of Title Update 1.73. The Summer 2026 update introduces a new multi-stage heist, seven vehicles, major Mission Creator improvements, economy changes, and dozens of gameplay fixes. Here's everything you need to know about the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist.

What Is the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist?

The Kortz Center is one of Los Santos' most prestigious cultural landmarks, sitting in the hills of Pacific Bluffs. Its Bell Building houses the Albert Crisp Collection, a mix of rare antiquities and contemporary art, plus a vault holding rotating high-value Primary Targets too valuable for public display.

Players work with the mysterious art dealer Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis, to plan and pull off the robbery.

The Heist unlocks once you buy the new Art Studio upgrade for an owned Mansion (via the Prix Luxury Real Estate website). It includes a series of Prep Missions leading into a Finale, launched from the Planning Board inside the Art Studio or by calling Raf in Freemode.

You can run the Heist solo or with a full crew, since it supports 1 to 4 players.

Alongside the Primary Target, the vault and gallery displays hold optional Secondary Targets that boost your final payout. Some of these require extra crew members and bag space to carry out safely.

New Awards and Tier-based Career Progress Challenges are available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced).

Planning Your Heist

The Kortz Center's defenses include professional security teams, CCTV, and laser tripwires, so prep work genuinely changes your options. Scoping the venue more thoroughly reveals extra entrances, additional prep missions, and disruption options that weaken security or throw off your pursuers. Skipping prep limits your entrance and exit choices, and playing solo locks you out of the most valuable Secondary Target rooms.

Primary and Secondary Targets

Once you've completed the Heist, you can sell the Primary Target for GTA$1,925,000 if it's your first Heist of the week. Repeat attempts pay out GTA$400,000 to GTA$500,000.

You can also keep the Primary Target in your Mansion instead of selling it.

Kortz Center Heist Rewards and Bonuses

Eligible Mansion owners can claim rewards through August 5, including Art Studio discounts, a free Vault Keypad upgrade, an Annihilator Stealth helicopter, and exclusive Mansion decorations.

Best Mansion Upgrades for the Kortz Center Heist

The Art Studio serves as your base of operations, where Yong-Rae creates replica artworks used during the Heist. Other Mansion upgrades feed directly into your Heist performance:

  • Armory — adds a powerful Mk II weapon to your Heist loadout.
  • Vehicle Workshop — improves performance on certain getaway vehicles.
  • Security staff — helps distract police during your escape, lowering your Wanted level.

Existing properties provide bonuses too. A Bunker upgrades the Mansion Armory, Agencies and select businesses grant extra time during the Finale, and an Arcade Drone Station unlocks Nano Drones.

You don't need to own a Mansion to join a crew — only to host one. GTA+ Members get a GTA$2,000,000 discount on any Mansion purchase.

New Vehicles Added

Seven vehicles launched alongside the update, all upgradeable with the Missile Lock-On Jammer via an owned Agency:

Vehicle Class Price
Benefactor LRC GT Super $2,650,000
Grotti Cartuccia GT Sports $2,395,000
Albany Merula Sedan $1,394,000
Ocelot E-Stride SUV $1,425,000
Benefactor Läufer Van $645,000
Grotti Veleno GT (HSW) Super $3,090,000
Vapid Caracara Armored Earned via Tier 4 Challenges

GTA+ Members received one week of early access to the Grotti Veleno GT. Two additional vehicles are scheduled to arrive in the following weeks.

Nearly 20 previously delisted vehicles also returned for general sale, and dozens more existing cars, bikes, and two aircraft (the Maibatsu Frogger and Titan) gained Missile Lock-On Jammer compatibility.

Economy and Experience Changes

Rockstar Games has heavily nerfed heist payouts, so you can only earn the full reward once a week per heist. Repeating a heist within that window gives a significantly reduced payout.

Cayo Perico Heist Target rates now refresh weekly on the same schedule, though Primary and Secondary Target values there were reduced, per Rockstar's own notes. Setup Mission rewards for the Original Heists and the Doomsday Heist were increased.

Other tweaks: players can now nominate up to 16 Player-Created Jobs for the Next Job vote screen, and Mansions can now be entered directly via requested Luxury Vehicles.

Mission Creator Overhaul

This update brings one of the biggest Mission Creator expansions in years. New interiors and world features are now available (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced only), alongside Warp Points for teleporting players between locations. Functional CCTV cameras and stealth-outfit recognition for Actors and cameras have also been added, along with support for up to 32 Objective Objects.

New Actors, Shared Follow Paths, expanded Cutscene tools, and dozens of quality-of-life improvements round out the update.

Rockstar has confirmed more seasonal content is on the way, including zombies and ghouls, set to arrive later this year as part of a fall Community Mission Series.
