There are also two trigger switches on the back of the controller to enable instant mouse click triggers. The left trigger switch enables the left trigger and the right trigger switch enables the right trigger.

To customize your trigger sensitivity, deadzones, and response curves, use the SCUF Nemesis Companion App. The companion app also allows you to configure thumbstick deadzones and response curves.

User Customization

Nemesis Pro 8K PC comes with removable parts so that you can customize your controller’s look.

Accessories

Want to swap your thumbsticks? Change your D-Pad? Simply, remove your faceplate by gently pulling it from the top, near the bumpers and pull away.

Now you can access your D-Pad, anti-friction rings, and thumbsticks.

Keep your look fresh with a new Faceplate, Thumbsticks and Anti-Friction Rings — there are endless combinations available at scufgaming.com.

Interchangeable Thumbsticks

First things first, what are you playing?

For first person shooters, we recommend using your tall thumbstick on the right for precision and accuracy through the scope. Short concaved on the left to dig in for quick, responsive moves. For sports games, stick with your concave sticks, they’ll give you the right balance.

Want to do your own thing? We get it. Remove your faceplate trim and simply pull the thumbsticks away from the shaft. Slide the new one on just as easily. To remove your Anti-Friction Rings, simply push them out from behind the faceplate trim and reverse the motion to reinstall.

Inner Paddles

Nemesis Pro 8K PC also comes with inner paddle blanking plates. You can use these if you don’t want to have inner paddles.

To install the blanking plates, you will need to remove the inner paddles first.

  1. To remove the inner paddles, find the finger notch located by the sides of the inner paddles.
  2. Using your finger, simply pull away until the inner paddle comes off.
  3. Once the paddle is off, install the blanking plate.

Polling Rate

The Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wired and Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wireless controllers support a configurable USB polling rate ranging from 125 Hz up to 8,000 Hz (8K), giving you ultra-low latency input on PC.

The default polling rate is set to 1,000 Hz (1K). You can adjust the polling rate through the SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K PC Companion App.

For Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wired: The polling rate can be configured via the companion app while the controller is connected to your PC via USB-C cable.

For Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wireless: The configurable polling rate applies in both wired USB and 2.4GHz wireless modes.

Please note that some games or applications may not support polling rates above 1,000 Hz.

Also, while the app is running and you are paired wirelessly, the polling rate will be maxed at 4K polling for wireless. There will be a future update to increase this to 8K wireless.

SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K PC Companion App

Take your Nemesis controller's customization even further with the SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K PC Companion App, available on the Microsoft Store for Windows PC. The companion app provides advanced customization features including the ability to manage and configure profiles, configure your controller mappings, and tune your thumbsticks and triggers.

This app is compatible with the Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wireless and Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wired controllers.

To use the companion app, download it from the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC. The app uses mouse and keyboard navigation for a seamless PC experience.

Getting Started with the App

In the Profiles menu you can view and configure your controller's 3 on-board profiles. Simply select the profile you want to configure.

Once you click on a profile rectangle, you will be brought to the configuration tab. Within this menu, you can edit your controller's inputs/mappings, thumbsticks, and trigger deadzones/response curves. Use the tabs at the top to navigate to the section you want to configure.

You can also rename the profile as well as the color by selecting the edit icon. Once you have made your changes, select the save button.

Inputs/Mappings

To change a mapping on your controller's inputs simply use the front or back layout tabs to find the input you want to change.

Select the input you want to change.

After selecting the input you want to edit, a table of mappable functions will be displayed. Select the function you want to assign to your selected input.

Your updates will be applied immediately and stored directly to the controller's memory.

Thumbsticks and Triggers

In these sections you can edit deadzones and response curves. Simply select the thumbstick or trigger you want to edit. Use your mouse to adjust the deadzone sliders and select response curve options. All changes are applied immediately to the controller.

To edit the response curves of the thumbsticks and triggers, select the graph option that is labeled as "Sensitivity Preset".

Now you will have a list of the response curve options.

Select the response curve you want to use. Once selected, click the save button to have it applied.

All profile settings are stored directly to your controller's internal memory and applied immediately. No manual save step is required.

Thumbstick & Trigger Calibration

Your controller comes ready to play out of the box, however you can recalibrate your thumbsticks and triggers at any time if needed. Calibration can be initiated via hardware directly on the controller, or through the SCUF Nemesis Companion App.

Hardware Calibration

To enter hardware calibration mode, press and hold the Menu and View buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. All three front LEDs will blink white for 1 second to indicate calibration has started. The calibration process will then proceed automatically through each step — no button presses are required between steps.

The steps are as follows:

Left Trigger Resting Position – Do not touch the left trigger for 3 seconds. The left LED will blink cyan, then solid cyan to confirm the value is stored.

Right Trigger Resting Position – Do not touch the right trigger for 3 seconds. The right LED will blink cyan, then solid cyan to confirm.

Left Trigger Max Position – Fully press and release the left trigger 3 times. The left LED will blink purple, then solid purple to confirm.

Right Trigger Max Position – Fully press and release the right trigger 3 times. The right LED will blink purple, then solid purple to confirm.

Left Thumbstick Resting Position – Push the left stick in any direction, return to center, and release. Repeat for all 4 cardinal directions. The left LED will blink hot pink, then solid hot pink to confirm.

Right Thumbstick Resting Position – Push the right stick in any direction, return to center, and release. Repeat for all 4 cardinal directions. The right LED will blink hot pink, then solid hot pink to confirm.

Left Thumbstick Max Position – Rotate the left stick 3 full circles clockwise, then 3 full circles counterclockwise. The left LED will blink yellow-green, then orange during the second direction, and solid orange to confirm.

Right Thumbstick Max Position – Rotate the right stick 3 full circles clockwise, then 3 full circles counterclockwise. The right LED will blink yellow-green, then orange during the second direction, and solid orange to confirm.

Once all steps are complete, the LED indication returns to normal and calibration data is saved automatically to the controller's non-volatile memory. If calibration fails at any step, all three front LEDs will blink red for 2 seconds.

Software Calibration

Calibration can also be initiated from within the SCUF Nemesis Companion App. The steps are the same as hardware calibration, with on-screen instructions and animations to guide you through each step. If a step fails during software calibration, you will be prompted to retry that specific step before continuing.

Please note: You cannot calibrate thumbsticks or triggers individually. All steps must be completed in sequence. You will also need to make sure the triggers are not in instant trigger mode and are in full throw mode. If you are swapping out faceplates, you would need to do a calibration to ensure the best performance.
